Zekai Gong
Zekai Gong is a graduate of Penn State University, where he studied Public Relations. Upon graduating from Penn State, Zekai co-founded Lucky Bay with Benji in 2022. In starting his own business, immediately upon graduating, he has made his own way in the world, not relying on the support of his family, determined to succeed through his own hard work and dedication, as he launched Lucky Bay.
Benji Johnson
Benji Johnson is a graduate of Oxford university, with over 12 years experience in the study abroad field, helping many students apply to elite global university. Benji has worked in South Korea, China and Kazakhstan, helping elite students achieve their goals. Having previously designed and run summer schools for both universities and schools, and having served as Head of University Applications in international schools, Benji has a great deal of experience helping students find their own unique, personalized path to success.

Xu has been a core part of our team since the start of Lucky Bay, serving as our strength training, personality profiling and career guidance expert. She is an expert in Gallup Polling personality profiling, and meets with all our long-term study abroad students to provide them with a clear understanding of their unique personal strengths.

Malcolm is a graduate of both Melbourne and RMIT universities. He has over 40 years experience working in education internationally, in South Korea and China, as both an Economics/ESL teacher and Education consultant. He is our Australia Director, and is leading our expansion into providing programs in Australia.

Cara is an expert in the OSSD system of education, as well as British GCSE and A levels having worked in both Chinese government run, and international schools. She is our in-house expert in summer school design, ensuring a high quality experience for all students and visitors.

Jane has a BA in Education, and has over 30 years experience in schools. She has previously designed summer schools for a variety of university and school clients, and has served on the senior leadership team at the primary school level.

Mark spent the majority of his career in business, working in senior leadership at a variety of FTSE 100 companies, including Toyota UK. He has also previously served as Chair of Governors at successful Harrogate primary and secondary schools.

Wendy has worked as a Higher Executive office in Contract Management, before moving into education. She is a licensed World-Wide Girl Guiding trip leader for residential trips. In 2010 she gained Charted Institute of Purchasing and Supply status.

Chris has spent a lifetime in education, serving on the senior leadership team of a successful Leeds secondary school, and as an Advanced Skills teacher. He is an expert in art and music university applications, having helped many students gain admission to prestigious music colleges.

Pauline graduated from Penn State, specializing in English Literature. After graduating she first worked internationally, teaching AP English, before returning to her native USA where she is now an IBMYP Co-ordinator in a successful international school.

Adrian is an expert in both applying for university in North America with sports scholarships, and with the running of international summer schools. He joins us in our ICE partnership, where he is the Chief China Representative of our UK & Australian based summer schools.

Joanna is an expert in Chinese university applications, and she has helped a plethora of students apply to elite Chinese universities. She joined us in our Harvest partnership, leading and directing our international summer schools for university students.

Sharon is a graduate of Warwick university, and has been an outstanding teacher for over 40 years, working in prestigious UK private schools, as well as in Thailand and China. Sharon is an expert in the British education system, and helps our students applying to UK private schools.
