Our Major Explorer: Science Leadership Team

Having previously worked for the South China University of Technology, and designed summer schools in Materials Science for the Beijing University of Technology and Wuhan University of Technology, Jane leads our Science explorer trip. She also serves as Managing Director of Lucky Bay UK, running our UK office, and managing our UK team.

Cara herself graduated from Syracuse University, before working in both OSSD and A level schools in Suzhou, making her an expert in a variety of different educational systems. In our summer school Cara is responsible for student’s health and safety, as well as for maintaining communications with parents whilst students are on our trip.

Joshua studied Mechanical Engineering at Penn State, before studying for his Master’s at NYU. He is Lucky Bay’s STEM application expert, and enjoys helping students explore the subtle differences between a variety of different STEM subjects. On our summer school he leads evening activities and career information sessions for students. 

Since graduating from the University of Oxford with a BA in Law and a MSc in Criminal Justice, Benji has run a variety of summer schools in Oxford and Cambridge. He has designed summer schools for a variety of Chinese universities, working with many Oxford and Cambridge professors. Having previously served as Operations Director for a UK summer school company, he leads our program.
